Randy Clutter, General Manager

A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Randy graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Political Science and Literature. Upon graduation, Randy spent three years in Telluride, CO where he got his start in the hospitality industry. He first managed the Great Room at Wyndham’s luxury property, the Peaks Resort and Golden Door Spa, and later managed Telluride’s finest dining destination, Harmon’s Restaurant and Club.

 

Missing the hustle and bustle of city life,  Randy returned to Boston where he gained additional experience at Abe & Louie’s Steakhouse and managing The Fireplace Restaurant in Brookline. Randy then opened Bistro du Midi in the role of Restaurant Manager and was promoted to General Manager in the following year.  He has developed strong hands on management style that focuses on team leadership, hard work, and a passion for exceptional food and wine.  Under Randy’s guidance Bistro du Midi has excelled in service and guest satisfaction. In 2012 Bistro du Midi won the coveted Boston Magazine ‘Best Service’ award.
